Wow! I love this place. Perch was outstanding. The kitchen staff is excellent, along with the servers. All food presented with care.

Came in for the fish fry, service and food knocked us out. Other restaurants were busier, but you can keep them, this place is a true gem. They brought out beans and bread before the meal and I was so impressed. I had shrimp, hubby had perch, teenage boys had a burger & fried chicken, all were terrific. Wish we had found this place sooner on our vacation.

We found this place based upon the wonderful reviews while visiting the area. DJ was our server and was extremely friendly. You can tell he cares not only about the quality of the food, but also about each of his customers. He knew almost everyone by name in the full dining area. People were happy to see him, assured their return, and he knew each of their stories. The food was also great, but the atmosphere was my favorite.

Great breakfast any day of the week. Some different items from the norm. Fair prices, friendly family run business. Our favorite place. On Fridays they have a great fish fry with a number of excellent choice. If you are nearby don't hesitate to give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

This place is a must for breakfast! Its the place highly recommended by the locals. Carmel apple crepes are fantastic. Thick cut bacon. Locally baked bread. Family owned. Ate here twice. And service was great.

Wonderful service and a great fish fry. We had the perch, cod, and walleye. All were perfect. I would love to see a combination perch and walleye plate.

This is one of those places where I have no idea how good the lunch or dinner is because the breakfast is so fantastic I absolutely must get it whenever I am there. Huge portions and everything is fresh and homemade. The owners work their tails off and are so nice. Great place to fuel up before a big day of fishing!

The best fish fry around. Hands down. I live on the west coast now and love fresh seafood, but when I come back to Wisconsin I need an awesome fish fry. Lake perch it shall be! And on that note there is one place that never fails to satisfy. DJ's. I go religiously every year when I'm "up north". Sometimes I go twice. Maybe this year I'll go three times. If I can't get anyone from my family to come along I'll go alone and I'm fine with that. I have to get my fix. DJ one time came to the table after dropping off our plates and apologized that the fillets were "so small" and set another plate with even more fish between myself and my cousin. Let me tell you this - there was nothing "small" about our original servings. There was everything big about the additional fish he gave us. We wasted nothing. I think we may have needed a cart to roll us out of there. The rolls are to die for as well. DJ takes his customer service seriously. You cannot go wrong eating here. I'm writing this review from AZ and am contemplating buying a plane ticket just so I can enjoy this great fish fry ASAP!

Great breakfast. Great service. My 4yo ordered the stuffed french toast and it was the most obscene plate of whipped cream, strawberries, french toast and cream cheese I've ever seen. He loved it.

Thanks to the great reviews, we knew exactly where to dine when in town. Yummy breakfast with a potato pancake on the side...can't get much better than that. The place is owned by a guy and his sister, and mom does the cooking. I had the corned beef hash and eggs... Nephews both got the pancakes- which, they were warned, were huge! A friendly atmosphere, fast service, great food. What more could you ask for?

I second all the great reviews on here. Great food, great service, great prices. Lots of locals here, but tourists and people who are "not the norm" all are welcomed here. DJ is a great owner, host, and great guy. They always have a bunch of nice folks working there. Last year I didn't make it up there on my annual trip to Wis, so I had to make a second one to get my taste of North Woods at DJs.

Been back many times...our go-to place. We drive from Eagle River where there is little to choose from of any quality or variety. Recently had a burger there that was exceptional...very fresh, perfectly cooked...heaven. The breakfasts are terrific as well, the service is attentive.

Wow, super breakfast in St. Germain. Fast service, delicious options, and they offer breakfast/ lunch selections. The rueban was tasty and the apple, carmel crepes were amazing. DJ also provides top comedy- hope you get him as a server.

I read the reviews for dj's when we first got to st. Germain on the 4th and I was looking forward to trying it. They must only be open for breakfast and Friday night fish fry. Every afternoon and evening we drove by it was closed. We finally made it in for breakfast this morning, it did not live up to the reviews. The food was alright but the service sucked. It was really slow, and we were offered refills on are water but never got them.

I think this place has the best pancakes- smothered in real butter. Also had a veggie omelette and some hash browns. Will look forward to more pancakes next visit

We went for breakfast with a large group. They were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. DJ is a really nice guy. We will be back!
